Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) Yoga
Paddleboard Yoga is by appointment only due to weather and waves. Yoga classes will be cancelled due to rain.
Paddleboard Yoga, also known as Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) Yoga, is practiced using a surf-type board on a body of water. This new fitness training enhances a traditional yoga practice with the challenges presented by balancing on the water. The peace and inner calm created by yoga is heightened by the beauty of being out in nature.
SUP Yoga classes will be taught by Kim by appointment only weather permitting. Classes cost $25 BYOB, or $40 with board rental and students must register in advance. Bring a towel, apply sunscreen, and wear yoga clothes or a bathing suit, for those interested in swimming.
SUP Yoga is appropriate for all ages and levels, as each class begins with a lesson, and is never a competition.
Kim says, “SUP is a great way to experience the bliss of yoga while enjoying the beauty of a lake in summer. I’ve taught absolute beginners, both yoga and paddle boarding, and everyone has enjoyed the class.”
